The Newtech Armor NIJ IV SiC Side Hard Armor Plate STA is a NIJ 0101.06 qualified level IV plate, which can be used independently.
This plate is made of advanced composite materials. We can provide test report, if needed. This plate can provide better protection for body side. The use of Silicon Carbide makes the plate lighter in weight, and practical in long-time tactical activities.
Adjustments can be made on plates in line with customer’s need.

Defense Level: This Level IV plate is NIJ 0101.06 certificated (Test report available) and rated to stop powerful bullets, such as AP, and API. It can stop M2 AP ≮3 shots, and lesser thrests ≮ 6 shots. We can also provide front plates with the same standard. With a combination of the two, you can get more comprehensive protection.
